About
American Legal Directory helps law firms build credible visibility and gives people a direct path to legal help across the United States.
For the legal profession
Law firms use the directory to present clear practice-area, location, and contact information. Every listing is reviewed for completeness and accuracy before publication. Paid plans purchase directory visibility, not referrals or guaranteed inquiries.
Verification indicates a profile has completed this review. It is not an endorsement of legal skill or outcome.
For the public
People use the directory to compare law firms by practice area and location, review profiles, and contact them directly. The directory is an informational resource only. We do not collect referral fees or take a percentage of legal fees.
Inquiries and connections happen directly between the person and the firm — no middleman, no referral platform.
How listings are created
Firm submits a profile
A law firm provides firm details, practice areas, locations, and contact information through the submission form.
Profile is reviewed
Our team reviews the submission for complete and accurate information. We contact the firm if anything needs clarification.
Profile is published
After approval, the listing goes live in the directory and the firm receives a confirmation email.
Choosing legal representation is an important decision. Directory information should be one part of a person's independent research.
